Beni shi en is an intriguing variegated purple-red Acer palmatum cultivar that changes colours throughout the seasons. The long, slender lobes have creamy gold irregular edging on foliage that emerges a rosy red and later changes to purple as the leaves develop and then to orange for Autumn. Beni shi en is a sturdy grower to 2m in 8 years. Can take full Sun.
