Purple Patches (sometimes also known as Macrobotrys or Longissima) is a spectacular wisteria especially grown over a pergola where its unbelievably long racemes can drape. It has purple-mauve flowers with a moderate scent on racemes of about a metre in length. It flowers profusely and is a good, vigorous grower with a delightful yellow Autumn foliage colour. The main flowering is in mid-spring. 200mm pot. Grafted
