Magnolia Acuminata ‘Sunray’: Rich yellow flowers on a vigorous plant with large leaves. The flowers are not only larger than ‘Sundance’, but they are a deeper yellow color, and they bloom later. It was bred by the late August Kehr by treating ‘Sundance’ vegetative budwood with colchicine, which doubled the chromosones
