Hedges and Screens

Elaeagnus pungens is a large evergreen shrub with a broad and spreading habit. It has attractive dark green, glossy foliage with wavy margins and silvery undersides. In late summer to autumn it bears very fragrant creamy white flowers. It can be grown as a feature plant but makes a good hedge or screen and can be used for topiary as it responds well to trimming. It will grow almost anywhere and therefore especially useful for difficult positions. Will grow to 3.5m by 3.5m or prune to suit.
